happy thanksgiving, Brad, but i disagree that it has to do (largely) with the economy. it's a cycle that 300zx has found itself in, where it has gotten so cheap to buy one, and in turn, those buyers put cheap parts on them and decrease the resale values. a booming economy won't solve that.would i pay top dollar for a pristine, mint z32? of course. but pristine z32's are rare. for every nice tt.net 300zx you see, i guarantee you'll see 10 junk ones with ams, rota or varrstoen wheels on them.
